What is the difference between dryer vent repair and installation?
Repair fixes a specific failed section, joint, or cap on an otherwise sound run. Installation replaces the full run when it is the wrong material or beyond repair.
My dryer vent disconnected inside the wall. Can you fix it?
Usually, where the disconnection is accessible. We reconnect and secure the joint and confirm the run exhausts properly. If it is sealed behind finished surfaces, we will explain the access needed.
The exterior flap on my vent is broken. Is that a repair?

Can a repair restore airflow as well as a new run?
If the rest of the run is sound and the right material, a proper repair restores airflow. If the whole line is undersized or damaged, installation is the better fix.
